His wife of 24 years Sheryl, his dog Chica, and several friends were by his side when he passed. Ron has been a hero to many as he battled several lifethreatening illnesses these past 14 months. His strength and courage being a testimony to each person that crossed his path during this time.

Ron was a committed member of AA. He lived the Serenity Prayer until his last breath; God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change the Courage to change the things I can and the Wisdom to know the difference.

There was never a more avid Laurel Locomotive supporter than Ron. He made it to every football and basketball game he possibly could to cheer them on. Tournaments were one of his favorite things when the Locomotives were playing! Go Purple and Gold!
