Getting off to a great start

From the editor’s desk

Kudos to the city’s new Chief Administrative Officer, Matthew

Lurker. At Tuesday evening’s council meeting, Councilman Irv Wilke announced that Lurker had helped the Rod and Gun Club

find suitable property to build a range. It’s great to see the CAO

going out of his way to resolve a long-standing issue. Hopefully, he will continue to support Laurel and its organizations throughout his tenure. It’s a welcome change.
