Kathleen M. Behm

Kathleen M. Behm, a former resident of Treasure State Acres, died May 26, 2018. She was born January 19, 1931 to Marie (Frank) and Phillip Behm and was raised in Laurel, Montana, graduating from Laurel High School in 1949. Kathleen’s sister, Phyllis Jean Behm Bromgard, passed in 1983.

Kathleen worked for Babcock and Lee Inc. in Billings before deciding to attend the University of Montana where she received a BS in Business Administration in 1968.

She worked for the State of Montana as Administrator of Central Payroll from 1968 until 1984, returning to Laurel to care for her father. Kathleen was a volunteer for Community Hope, Inc. while there.

In 1996, she returned to Helena. Kathleen en-

joyed fishing from the Yellowstone to the Clark

Fork, bowling, pheasant hunting, and belonging to several business women’s and investment clubs during her lifetime. She enjoyed the company of her friends during good times and was a valuable asset to her friends during the tough times.

Burial will be in Laurel at a date and time to be announced.
