Lorraine Krook, 79, of Joliet passed away April 25 in Joliet.

Lorraine was born April 26, 1938 to Marian and Eleanor (Woolverton) Crawford  in Laurel MT. She graduated at Laurel High School and then attended cosmetology school.

On August 17, 1957 Lorraine married Ronald Krook.  They farmed and ranched together in Boyd until retiring to Joliet.  Lorraine had seven children, six of whom survive.

Lorraine enjoyed reading, attending church, going on outings, her family, and her friends from the Boyd Community Center.

Survivors include her children, Jeff (Ginger), Julie (Bryce), Kelly, Kevin (Cathy), Jolene (John), and Kraig (Christie): 23 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron; her parents; her daughter, Donna; her sisters, Lois and Louise; and her granddaughter, Candace.

The family would like to thank Mom’s dear friends, Judy Strobbee and Kathy Hern.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. May 1st at the Joliet Wesleyan Church.  Cremation has taken place. Smith- Olcott Funeral Chapel of Red Lodge is assisting with arrangements.

Memorials may be given to the Boyd Community Center.
