Ed Singer

Ed Singer passed away February 12, 2018. He was born to Paul (Doc) and Ida Singer in Miles City, Montana, January 31, 1958. At the age of 3, the family moved to Chadron, Nebraska. Then on to Bayard, Neb. to open up “Doc’s” Boot & Shoe repair. Ed

grew up hunting, fishing

and camping. He excelled in Boy Scouts getting his Eagle Badge. He loved wrestling, FFA, soap box Derby and many other sports. He graduated from Bayard Senior High in 1976.

Shortly after graduation he moved back to Montana and worked various jobs with Cenex, H & H

lumber, etc. Then he moved on to Whitefish, Mont.

There he met the girls of his dreams, Julie Rath and her 10-year-old daughter Sarah. They were married March 24, 1990, and made a happy family for years, until divorcing in 2016.

Ed joins his father in death and leaves behind his mother, Ida (Papa John) Maciel; brother Patrick (Jazzy girl); lil sis Mary (Massey) Hewitt and her son Dustin Massey. There are too many relatives to mention but all are dearly loved as were honorary family members Heather, Colton and Brayden Boyle; and special friends, Tom (Carrie) Johnson, Opie and so many others.

Ed has been cremated and we are having a celebration of life at the Eagles Club in Laurel on Sunday April 29th at 1 p.m. Please come and share your favorite memories.
