Neil ‘Nacho’ Stanford

Neil “Nacho” Stanford, “Wavrin the Wonderer”, was a strong man.  He fought hard on the battlefield even if that field was his personal health, something he believed in, or something that he loved to do.  He was a medical mess on paper, but he still tried to enjoy life and the little things. He had a daughter who was the light of his life until his grandson was born. Then he felt love that he had never felt before. He cherished his family and friends right until the end.

He is missed by his daughter Skyla (Kayleb Curtis); grandson Tyrian; mother Jan Faught; father Ron (Donna) Stanford; brother Paul; older brother Karl; honorary brother John; grandmother Hazel Faught; many aunts, uncles, cousins and so many special friends.

A memorial celebration will be held on April 7. The time and location will be posted in the Smith’s Funeral Home column a week before and posted on family Facebook pages.
