Sally L. Shortridge (Troutwine)

Sally L. Shortridge, 77, of Laurel, passed away in her sleep the morning of December 22, 2017.

Sally was born August 15, 1940 in Boone, Iowa, to Alonzo and Ada Troutwine. Sally enjoyed time with family, working on her home and yard.
She moved to Columbus, Montana in the fall of 1983 and married Charles Shortridge. They owned Shortridge Oil Company until 2002.
Sally was preceded in passing by her parents, her brother Kenny, sister Terry, sister Nancy and her husband.
Survivors include her brother James (Gloria) Troutwine, daughter Laura (Alec) Krug, daughter Jessica (Kevin) Marcier and son James Coe; grandchildren, Autumn (Justin) Maxwell, Jen (Mike) Kibbe, Cody (Mandy) Merceir, Tyler (Shae) Fadness, Salynn Krug (Nick), Shaylin Mercier (Xavior), Alexix Krug (Drew) and Allison Mercier. She also left 15 great grandchildren, 10 girls and five boys; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Chapel in Laurel  at 3 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2018. A celebration of life will follow at 5 p.m. at Palace Bars and Lanes in the upstairs room.
