Take a Drive on the wild side at ZooMontana

ZooMontana will once again light up the holidays by presenting ZooLights 2017. Guests can “take a drive on the wild side” in their cars, trucks, vans or buses and enjoy the festive light display while enjoying holiday music on the ZooRadio station sponsored by Purple Snow Promotions.
ZooLights will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on December 8th, 9th, 15th, and 16th and the 20th through the 24th. New this year, ZooLights will be open after Christmas on December 26th and 27th from 6pm to 9pm both nights. Admission to ZooLights is $10 per car, $15 per van and $20 per bus.  ZooMembers receive $2 off.
“ZooLights has become a family tradition for many in our community,” said Jeff Ewelt, Executive Director of ZooMontana. “The funds raised through ZooLights allow us to continue to provide quality animal care and incredible educational programming,” added Ewelt. “We have invested over ten thousand dollars into ZooLights this year, moving many of the displays to LED lights,” added Ewelt. “We are excited to have a brighter display and a new ZooLights sign at the entrance.”
Guests can also enjoy ZooLights with a traditional horse drawn wagon ride with Elk River Outfitters. The wagon seats approximately 16 people and is pulled by a team of working draft horses.  The rates for the wagon rides are:  $12.95 for adults, $6.95 for children 12 and under, and free for kids 3 and under. The rides will be offered every night of ZooLights and reservations are recommended and can be made at redlodgehorsebackrides.com.
