Lyle Melvin Blackford

Lyle Melvin Blackford was born on November 2, 1956 in Columbus MT to John and Wanda Blackford and passed away November 8th in Billings MT. Lyle grew up in the Joliet community and always called it home. He spent the majority of his life working on the Seright potato farms and working at one or both of the Joliet Bars. He was preceded in death by both parents, older brother Leslie and baby sister LeAnn. He is survived by sisters Lynette Schartz and Lorrie Harris both of Billings. He's also survived by nephews Brandon and Johnny Frickel, Michael Brooke and nieces Renae Bighorn, and Michelle Brooke. Inurnment services will be at the VA Cemetery in Laurel at 11 November 27th. A celebration of life will be held that evening at the J-Bar in Joliet. Please come to a potluck style celebration at 6:30 and bring your best story of Lyle.
