Park City dropped a match to Reed Point/Rapelje in three games; 23-25, 23-25, 20-25 at home on Friday to finish the regular season at 2-11 and in 7th place in the conference.
Coach Kate Kristaldi said the season has been the building year she anticipated.
“We’re a young team who have learned a lot this fall and we are looking to put everything we’ve learned into practice at districts this weekend.”
The first round 4C tournament in Absarokee begins this morning with a play-in game between Fromberg and Belfry at 10 a.m. The #7 seed Lady Panthers (2-11) face #2 Custer/Hysham Rebels (11-2), at 11:30 a.m. The winner and loser of that game play the winner and loser of the Reed Point/Rapelje versus Plenty Coups match.
“We have played Custer/Hysham twice; it should be a good matchup,” Cristaldi said.
