Joliet cross country had two successful meets this past week in Shepherd and Big Timber.

Coach Rachel Herrington said the team’s performance was excellent.

“Almost every runner for the high school achieved a new personal record at Shepherd, and every middle school runner achieved a personal record at Big Timber.”

Herrington said Big Timber was more difficult for the high schoolers, but the middle schoolers fared much better.

The J-Hawks and CJ Roadrunners had a break this week but head to Roundup on Saturday and then on to State next weekend.

“The team has never been stronger and we are looking forward to a strong showing at the next two competitions,” Herrington said.
