The Panthers took a 7-6 lead in the opening quarter of Saturday’s game in Hobson when senior end Rylan Gauthier caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from Connor McNeil, and then McNeil made the extra point. The Tri-Cities Titans then scored the next 20 points to take a 26-7 lead into halftime. After being down 32-7 in the third quarter, the Panthers scored 16 quick points to pull within nine, 32-23, on two Carson Baker runs and two two-point conversions; a pass from McNeil to Jack Bernhardt, and another Baker run. The Titans then held the Panthers scoreless for the rest of the game, while scoring four times, to down the Panthers 60-23.
