RiverStone Health Hospice offers BraveHearts support

BraveHearts, a free grief support group for children and teens sponsored by RiverStone Health Hospice Services, begins a new session on Sept. 19.  Support group sessions will be on Tuesdays, 6-7:30 p.m. for eight weeks. BraveHearts meetings take place at RiverStone Health, 123 South 27th Street, in the Lil Anderson Center.
The grief support group is open to any child age 5 to 17 who has suffered the loss of a loved one. During the sessions, children engage in activities that help them explore and express their thoughts and feelings, as well as remember and cherish special memories through art, play and sharing. All groups are led by RiverStone Health bereavement professionals.
While there is no cost to participate in the group, registration is required by Sept.15. For more information and to register, call RiverStone Health at 651-6500.
