Firemen appreciated

I was saddened and disappointed to hear that one of the fireman’s gear was stolen at the July 4th celebration. What was that person’s motive? Apparently they were there to enjoy all that the firemen had worked voluntarily to put on the July 4th celebration and then cleaning up afterwards. What were they planning on doing with it? I’m sure it wasn’t that they planned on putting in the many hours to become service to the community. The firemen are all voluntary and spend many hours training and sacrifice to be ready on a minute’s notice when needed.
The firemen put their lives on the line. In the meantime the community needs to donate to replace the gear. We need to make sure that the firemen are equipped with the proper gear to do their service. Thank you firemen for all you do. You are greatly appreciated.
