Park City Panthers place at state

The competition was amazing as Class C schools from all Montana competed in the 2017 State Track Meet held at the Locomotive Complex in Laurel on May 26 and 27.
Lady Panthers taking the stand were: Brittany Frank – 2nd in the javelin with a throw of 127’ 5”; MacKinzie Verke – 3rd in the triple jump with a jump of 34’ 6 ½ ”; Rayna Laakso – 3rd in 100 Hurdles with a time of 16.16 seconds; and Shelby Branstetter – 5th in 300 Hurdles with a time 47.95 seconds.
The Panther boys’ relay teams were both successful as well. The 4 x 100 relay (run by Connor McNeil, Rylan Gauthier, Brandon Flemmer, & Devon Dennis) placed 4th with a time of 45.64 seconds. The 4 x 400 relay (run by Devyn Shakley, Connor McNeil, Devon Dennis, & Brandon Flemmer) placed 5th with a time of 3:39.02, and Connor McNeil placed 6th in the javelin with a throw of 162’ 3”.
