Police Report 12/8/16

The following represent a portion of the calls responded to by officers from the Laurel Police Department. Unless otherwise indicated, all cases are considered under investigation. Anyone with information about these or other crimes is encouraged to call the LPD at 628-8737.
On Nov. 28, at 7:07 p.m., a family disturbance was reported on the 400 block of 5th Ave. According to the report a female in the household was being physically aggressive towards other residents. Lyndsey Temple, 31, of Laurel, was arrested for partner family member assault and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Nov. 28, Billings Police Department officers served Camille Ackaret, 35, of Billings, with city of Laurel warrants. She was served and taken to the Yellowstone County Detention Facility.
On Dec. 2, at 3:313 a.m., a family disturbance and a physical altercation was reported on the 1200 block of E. 6th St. Bennett Neumeister, a 21-year-old male from Nisland, SD, was arrested on PFMA and assault and taken to YCDF.
On Dec. 3, at 1:25 p.m., a shoplifter was reported at Reese and Ray’s IGA. Dawn Klein, 31, of Laurel, was arrested on theft and cited into court.
On Dec. 4, at 1:45 a.m., a driver was operating a vehicle while impaired, according to a complainant who reported the incident. The complainant saw the suspect swerving and unable to drive safely. Police located the driver on 8th Ave. They determined the driver impaired based on their observations, initiated a stop and cited Tera Bummer, 33, of Laurel, for driving under the influence of alcohol.

On Nov. 29, at 1:26 a.m., a deputy reported a beaver had dropped a tree onto the South Park City Rd. The tree was removed around 4 a.m.
On. Nov. 29, at 1:32 p.m., an officer reported seeing a stolen truck on First Ave. and South Clark St. The vehicle appeared to be unoccupied. Soon after, the officer reported Kristopher Sean Bennett got into truck and started to drive away. He was arrested and taken to the Yellowstone County Detention Center. The owner of the vehicle was notified.
On Nov. 30 at 12:24 a.m., a resident reported that her apartment on First Ave. was ransacked. Missing were cosmetics. clothes and a television. No suspects have been identified.
On Dec. 1, at 4:23 p.m., a resident reported that a neighbor close to Molt School at an unknown address had been target practicing during school hours, scaring the children. An officer located the shooter and responded to the situation.
On Dec. 2, at 5:43 a.m., dispatch received a 911 call from a female subject in a blue Subaru Outback. She reported having a “little gun” pointed at her while she was driving west bound on 1-90. No subjects were arrested.
On Dec. 3, at 12:10 a.m., a resident on First Ave. SW, reported a dog that had barking for hours and would not stop. Units were advised and will make contact when the owners of the dog are home..
On Dec. 3, at 10:52 a.m., a resident reported finding a disassembled shotgun in a blue bag on the side of Sportsman Park Rd. Officers later collected the bag.
On Dec. 3, at 11:03 a.m., a report was made of a female driver in a red Intrepid swerving and speeding on I-90 near mile marker 428. Officers eventually pulled over the driver. She had an unknown problem. EMS responded and transported the subject to a hospital.
On Dec. 5, at 4:26 a.m., on I-90 near mm 417 a driver rolled a truck. The Park City Fire Department was paged. Firefighters reported no injuries.
