ZooLights tours underway

ZooMontana will once again light up the holidays by presenting ZooLights 2016. Instead of taking a walk on the wild side, community members will be able to take a drive on the wild side.  Drivers of cars, trucks and buses will be able to drive through a section of the Zoo so the passengers can enjoy the delightful holiday light display. Horse drawn carriage rides will also be available by reservation.
“ZooLights is a family tradition for many in our community and has been successful over the past several years thanks to the financial contributions we receive from our sponsors and visitors each year,” said Jeff Ewelt, Executive Director of ZooMontana. “The funds raised through ZooLights allow us to continue to provide quality animal care and experiential educational programming.”
ZooLights will be held from 6— 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, Dec. 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 and 17 and will also be open Dec. 18 through the 24.  On Dec.16 and 17, Winter Wonderland will be held in the EEC ZooPavilion from 6 to 9 p.m. Winter Wonderland will include free crafts and activities for kids along with a visit from Santa. Guests will be able to purchase warm beverages from Mountain Mudd and take their own pictures for free with Santa in a beautiful setting created by Party Solutions.
Admission to ZooLights is $10 per car, $15 per 15 passenger van and $20 per bus. Zoo members receive $2 off admission and on Friday, Dec. 9, anyone bringing a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots will also receive $2 off (members will receive $3 off).
