Laurel High School was recognized nationally in December as a National Distinguished School for 2020 by the National Association of ESEA State Program Administrators. LHS was the only high school in Montana to received the award and was honored for closing the achievement gap between student groups for two or more consecutive years. At halftime of Tuesday’s girls basketball game LHS staff were saluted by the community for their achievements.
