The Town of Joliet may apply for funding from the Montana Community Development Block Grant Program (federal funding administered by the Montana Department of Commerce) and other state and federal funding sources to deal with local housing, public facilities, or other community needs and would like comments or suggestions from local citizens regarding the Towns needs and the type of projects which should be considered. Comments may be given orally at the hearing or submitted in writing before 4 p.m., July 20.

Anyone who would like more information or who wants to submit suggestions should contact Amber Foechterle, Clerk/Treasurer, 962-3567 at Town Hall during regular office hours.

At the public hearing, the findings of the PER will be explained, including the purpose, the planning area, condition of the existing water system, alternatives considered to address problems within the system, budget, possible sources of funding, and any costs that may result for local citizens as a result of the project. A decision will also be made at the meeting on the environmental review record.
