On Monday Detective Joel Sauter of the Laurel Police Department announced the three individuals involved in vandalizing 22 vehicles in Laurel have been charged:

“On Sept. 4, 2019, the Laurel Police Department received an anonymous tip on who was possible committing the vandalism to the vehicles in Laurel. After several interviews with two male juveniles and a male adult, Connor Polkowske, the three males were charged with felony criminal mischief (common scheme) in connection with 22 vehicles that were vandalized in the City limits of Laurel. The suspects used a sling shot and marbles to shoot out windows on vehicles. The suspects also admitted to vandalizing approximately 50 vehicles in total, including approximately 17 vehicles on the west end of Billings. I have notified the Sheriff’s department and the Billings police department of the vandalism in their area.”

On Tuesday Detective Sauter said it is likely the three individuals will face additional charges out of Billings and Yellowstone County on top of the Laurel charges. Polkowske is set to appear in District Court in Billings tomorrow.
