Suzann Swayze Nelson

Suzann Swayze Nelson 75, passed away on December 26, 2018 at home in Laurel, MT from lung cancer. Suzann was born March 20, 1943 in Ashland, Kansas to Jack Herndon Swayze and Bonnie Elizabeth (Ford) Swayze of Ashland, Kansas. She married Melton Nelson on September 14, 1979 in Cody, WY. She retired from the U.S. Army Reserves in March 20, 2003 as a Master Sergeant. She is survived by her husband, Melton Nelson; children Tina Elmore and Tim Nelson, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Suzann was cremated at Smith Funeral Home in Billings, MT. A memorial service will be held later in the springtime. Memorial Contributions can be given to Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter, 1735 Monad Rd, Billings MT 59102-0920 sent in care of the family.
