Smokey sunrise

The smoke from multiple fires in Montana made for an otherworldly sunrise on the Yellowstone River last week. Due to drought conditions and extreme low water, many rivers in the state–including the entire Yellowstone river from Laurel to Yellowstone National Park–are under “Hoot Owl” restrictions which prohibit fishing between 2 p.m. and midnight every day.
