Shirley E. McChesney Moran Eastlick

Shirley E. McChesney Moran Eastlick passed away June 30, 2020 in Billings. She was born October 4, 1926 to Walter and Mary McChesney in Sidney, Montana. She attended country school and graduated from high school in Sidney in 1944. She married Alvin (Tiny) I Moran and together they had three children.

They farmed in several places and settled in Laurel where Tiny drove truck. He died of a heart attack in 1965. She later married Earl Eastlick.

Shirley enjoyed bowling, dancing, eating out, volunteer jobs, and being with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Alvin and Earl, brother Ernie, her sisters Maxine, Margie, Alice, and their spouses and grandson Bryon Rognlie and nieces and nephews.

Shirley is survived by her children Sandy (Bruce) Markegard and their children Kathy, Kurt (Darlene), and Kyle; Sue (Stan) Frank and their children Cindy, Wendy, and Lena (Shawn); Ray (Kathy) Moran and their children Jerry (Melissa), B.J.(Kari), and Michael (Sarah); and Barb (Rich) Snow and their children Doug and Connie (Richie). She is survived by 22 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She is also survived by sister-in-law Beverly King, numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.

A memorial service was held Friday, July 3, 2020 at Smith Laurel Chapel with private interment at the Laurel City Cemetery.
