Shawn Michael Brennan

Shawn Michael Brennan, 55, passed away after losing his battle with cancer on June 30, 2017 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Shawn was born August 9, 1961 to Bill and Nancy Brennan of Laurel. He attended schools in Laurel and graduated from L.H.S. in 1979. After graduation, Shawn enlisted in the Marine Corps and served four years as a mechanic on F-4 Phantoms. After his discharge he attended Cheyenne Aerotech in Cheyenne, Wyo., receiving his F.A.A. A&P license before being employed by American Airlines in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He also served in the National Guard in Montana. Wyoming and Oklahoma for eight years. He is survived by his parents. Bill and Nancy Brennan of Laurel, sister Kathleen Jessee of Ashland, Mass., sister Teri Roth of
Sheridan,Wyo., several nieces and nephews and his former wife, Kathy McGraw Brennan of
Broken Arrow. A memorial service will be held August 19, at 2 p.m. at the Laurel United
Methodist Church.
