Rep. Ricci frustrated by inaction on bills

In a call to the Outlook Wednesday morning, Rep. Vince Ricci reported that he doesn’t know if the Montana Legislature will pass a state infrastructure bill or not.
“I cannot tell you what the outcome will be,” he said. “The longer this drags on the more frustrating it is for the legislators.” Wednesday marked the 87th day of the legislature. Technically, the senate could call for Sine Die, or adjournment anytime, according to Rep. Ricci, despite not having passed the important bill.
Rep. Ricci said that action was supposed to be taken on HB 586 to fund Laurel’s intake Tuesday night, but that as far as he knew it didn’t happen.
