Laurel Police Report

The following represent a portion of the calls responded to by officers from the Laurel Police Department. Unless otherwise indicated, all cases are considered under investigation. Anyone with information about these or other crimes is encouraged to call the LPD at 628-8737.

May 5

• At 2:39 a.m. officers responded to a fight in progress on West 3rd St. and 7th Ave. After an investigation Jestin Molnar, 18, of Laurel was arrested for DUI, first offense. A juvenile male was charged with possession of intoxicating substance while under the age of 21, also a first offense.

• At 11:04 a.m. theft was reported from a vehicle on the 1000 block of Reading Circle. The vehicle’s title and registration were stolen.

May 9

• At 5:26 p.m. a Laurel City Court warrant was served on Brandon Mettler, 25, of Billings at the Yellowstone County Detention Facility. The warrant was for $615 for failure to appear.

May 11

• At 8:35 a.m. a caller reported a checkbook on an old account had been stolen from a resident on the 1000 block of 12th Ave.
