No serious damage. Outlook photo by Chris McConnell.  Firefighters responded to a structure fire call on Wednesday afternoon that turned out to be a microwave that caught fire.

There is no Laurel police report this week because of law enforcement training.

Sheriff’s Department
• On June 9, at 11:34 p.m., a caller reported a white pickup weaving all over the road at mile marker 425 on Interstate 90. At 11:46 p.m. a deputy reported he was behind the vehicle and there is no reason to stop it.
• On June 10, at 12:02 a.m., a deputy was contacted regarding a cold assault. A female had been physically assaulted by a male but didn’t want anything done.
• At 2:54 p.m. on June 10, 911 dispatch received a report of a motorcycle that flipped end-over-end and the driver was injured near mm 417 on I-90. Columbus and Park City were paged. Help flight was launched and Montana Highway Patrol was notified. At 3:29 p.m. Help flight was clear of the scene with the patient on board.
• On June 10, at 4:17 p.m., a caller on Sportsman Park road reported the ditch had flooded and her house is flooding. She stated she is unsure who to call to have the head gate turned off. At 4:29 p.m. dispatch called the woman and told her they couldn’t locate the owner of the ditch. The woman stated it is not a private ditch. Dispatch informed her it is a civil issue and she should contact her insurance company and, if possible, ask her neighbors if they know who owns it. The caller stated she would call the Sheriff’s department if she located the owner.
• At 9:55 p.m. on June 10, a caller reported two cars in the ditch near Trewin school. The caller said there were people across the street digging in the ditch and felt they were in a dangerous spot.
• At 6:22 p.m. on June 11, a Park City caller reported her neighbor screaming at her children. A deputy spoke with both parties and advised the woman to not speak so harshly to the children.
