Police Report 4/13/17

The following represent a portion of the calls responded to by officers from the Laurel Police Department. Unless otherwise indicated, all cases are considered under investigation. Anyone with information about these or other crimes is encouraged to call the LPD at 628-8737.
• On April 3, at 3:34 p.m., police responded to a disorderly conduct call at Laurel Middle School. A 13-year-old male and others were causing a disturbance. The subject was asked to leave. Officers were called when he refused to go.
• On April 5, at 4:47 a.m., a disturbance was reported on the 1100 block of Milwaukee. Officers discovered there had been a physical altercation. The male perpetrator had fled, but was located outside the city by deputies from the Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office and arrested. Brandon Flores, 25, of Joliet, was arrested for partner family member assault.
• On April 5, at 11:11 p.m., a theft was reported from the Walmart parking lot. A woman had left her vehicle unlocked and inadvertently left her purse in it. She was missing credit cards, cash and checks. Police are reviewing camera footage.
• On April 6, at 8:37 a.m., a city of Laurel contempt of court warrant was served to Trevor Stiles, 42, of Belgrade, at the Yellowstone County Detention Center.
• On April 6, at 1:49 p.m., a tee-shirt scam was reported to LPD. An individual purporting to be from a known business approached another business person. The victim bought what was supposed to be $400 worth of promotional West High tee-shirts from the scammer, who did not work for the company as claimed. The case is under investigation.
• On April 6, at 6:56 p.m., a criminal mischief report was made from the 500 block of W. Maryland Ln. A tire was slashed. The victim saw a black vehicle speed away and thinks it possible the driver was involved.
• On April 6, damage was done at Kids’ Kingdom to the tic,tac, toe board. Girls could be seen on survellience playing with it and then disassembling the toy.

Stillwater County
• On April 1, at 11:22 p.m., on the median west of the Park City exit ramp, a caller reported a vehicle flip over. The ambulance arrived on scene and the victims of the accident were transported to Billings Clinic for unknown injuries.
• On April 2, at 6:51 p.m., on Benedict Gulch Rd., a 59-year-old female suffered a heart attack. She was transferred to Billings Clinic by Park City Ambulance. She was in stable condition.
• On April 3, at 11:41 a.m., at the Park City Car and Truck Stop, a deputy picked up some video of a subject using a stolen credit card.
• On April 3, at 6:12 p.m., on I-90 near Park City, a caller reported two vehicles with North Dakota plates driving erratically trying to pass everyone and each other. The vehicles were a Honda Civic and a Jeep that has a Pizza Hut sign on it.
• On April 3, at 11:34 p.m., on the 600 block of 1st Ave SW, in Park City, a caller reported that her husband fell in the kitchen and she can’t get him to wake up. He came to, and is sweaty, wants to vomit, and is breathing heavily. He hit his head on the table.
• On April 4, at 5:15 p.m., on South Clark Street in Park City, a caller reported that she moved into the brown trailer by the homestead; was there 24 hours and paid her rent, which was $295, but she gave $300. She was kicked out of the place for no reason and wants an officer to call her about this matter.
• On April 6, at 6:56 p.m., on the 200 block of South Clark St. in Park City, a caller reported that she smells gas by her front door and hears a hissing sound. She notified Montana Dakota Utilities. The Park City Fire responded, found the leak and shut the gas off to the property. Gas readings in the house checked out fine. The home owner will wait for MDU.
• On April 7, at 10:07 a.m., on the 500 block of Cemetery Road, DES requested that a deputy respond to ask the people that live at that address to put out their controlled burn due to high wind warnings and to burn another day.
• On April 8, at 4:50 p.m., on I-90, officers responded to a motor vehicle rollover accident. The injured were transferred to the hospital by the Columbus Ambulance.
