P.E.O. Chapter BX provided a service as part of a community event on Sept. 15 at West Elementary and South Elementary Schools. The Chapter helped fellow P.E.O. member Erika Frisby with two school libraries in Laurel.  It was a great success and greatly appreciated.  P.E.O. is an organization for women to help women reach their potential. Women are empowered through scholarships, grants, awards and loans.  P.E.O.’s stewardship of Cottey College in Missouri also supports women.  Anyone with questions about P.E.O. should ask a local Chapter member.
