Patriots support President Trump

Ramblings of a Conservative Cow Doctor

A decade ago, I viewed the Arlington Memorial depicting the Marines raising the flag on Iwo Jima. The size of the massive sculpture is inspiring by itself, but this monument so captures Americans putting love of country above self, viewing it at twilight is truly a numbing experience. I felt so small compared to the sacrifice made by the thousands upon thousands who answered liberty’s call and left home to never return. Here is why this is timely.

Unless you only swallow the pablum you are spoon fed by CNN or MSNBC, you have likely seen photos and videos of the massive Trump re-election rally in Orlando, Florida. Patriots began mustering 48 hours in advance to secure tickets and once inside, the Amway Center was awash with red MAGA hats in a sea of red, white and blue. The nearly 20,000 patriots beamed love of country and in less than 24 hours their infectious enthusiasm triggered a record breaking 24.8 million dollars in campaign contributions. The Amway Center was filled with flag-waving butchers, bakers and candlestick makers, the ordinary Americans who get up every morning to provide for and raise their families consistent with God’s word in His republic. Let’s contrast this gathering with a progressive campaign rally. We need not name any candidate because leftists are ideological, cookiecutter replicas differing only in Body Mass Index, sexual perception and selected hair color.

President Trump loves America and the freedom for which she stands, while progressives hate America as much, or more than they hate the president. Trump encourages his countrymen to be the best they can be. Progressives convince followers they are all victims. The president promises to get government out of the way while progressives promise government is the way. Patriots rear their children to become responsible adults while progressives sacrifice theirs to Molech and this brings me to my point.

A single photograph captured the heroics of five Marines and one Navy Corpsman raising the colors on Iwo Jima, but the bigger story behind the iconic scene was the 6,800 patriots who died capturing the Japanese island. Similarly, President Donald Trump figuratively posted colors in Florida but bigger than him is a nationwide movement of freedom loving patriots who refuse to sit back and let the left destroy the dream called America. Beginning this Independence Day, rally around the flag or forever wish you would have.
