Not Your Mother’s Vegetables program at library

The Billings Public Library will host Not Your Mother’s Vegetables: Creative Ways to Enjoy the Bounty with Stella Fong on Thursday, Sept. 14th. The program will be held in the Billings Public Library Community Room at 5 p.m.
There is more to enjoying vegetables than boiled and mashed like Mom used to make. Join Stella Fong, author and radio host, on how to enjoy vegetables in new ways. She shares recipes monthly on her Tickled Palate section for IChangeBillings.com. The bounty of the season tastes different, depending on how it is prepared and then cooked. Taste for yourself and see.
Dr. Ed Dean, creator of IChangeBillings will talk briefly on how his website IChangeBillings can help you live a healthier and happier life.
Stella Fong is author of Historic Restaurants of Billings and Billings Food, and contributes regularly to Yellowstone Valley Magazine, The Last Best Plates and LastBestNews. She hosts Yellowstone Public Radio’s Flavors Under the Big Sky: Celebrating the Bounty of the Region.
