Non-stop truck traffic

A number of belly dump trucks are carrying dirt for the new interchanges from north of Laurel down 1st Ave. and either crossing Main St. and going under the underpass or turning onto Main St. and heading west. After dumping their payloads drivers make the return trip causing Laurel’s busiest streets to be more crowded than usual. With some of the dirt making its way to the pavement and rain falling it created slick conditions.
