MHP to Conduct Public Opinion Survey

Thursday, June 21, 2018

Beginning June 15, the Montana Highway Patrol began con - ducting a public opinion survey with the help of consulting com - pany, OrgVitality. The survey will run approximately 6-8 weeks depending on the analysis of the statisticians at OrgVitality.  The public can access the survey from the following link:  This link will also be located on all of MHP’s social media sites, as well as the Patrol website.  Busi - ness cards with information about the survey will be provided by troopers for every contact they have with the public until the conclusion of the survey.

The purpose of the survey is to seek proactive input from the public regarding Patrol operations. “Other states such as Colorado have received impactful feedback from surveys such as this. We hope to emulate their success and use the data to help inform our choices moving forward in a way that improves the quality of our services and public interactions,” says Colonel Tom Butler, Chief Administrator of the Montana Highway Patrol.
