Make CTR parade one for the record book

The Christmas to Remember Events Committee has been alerting the community of Laurel and surrounding areas for several weeks about its special day which is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 3.
After a full day of activities, hopefully many people will congregate downtown at dusk to view the lighted holiday parade.
CTREC is urging businesses, churches, individuals and civic groups to enter the parade. The more entries the better, which will make the parade the greatest ever.
To apply, interested parties should call Jean Carroll Thompson at 248-8557. The fee to enter is $10. Floats need to line up on 1st Ave. and East 2nd St. at 4:30 p.m. Float order is determined on a first-come basis, but all floats need to be in place no later than 5 p.m.
