Taylor was a three-time All-State finisher in cross country and was a vital member of the 2020 Class A Girls Cross Country State Championship team. She was also a member of the first Laurel Girls Track and Field Championship team in 2021. Taylor is currently competing in her final track season as a Locomotive.
As Head Cross Country Coach James Haskins said, “Lauren was a Team Captain and a leader in so many ways for the Locomotive team this past season. Her incredible work ethic and joy for the sport of running will be greatly missed.”
