The Lady Locos volleyball team headed to Divisionals in Lewistown yesterday with a 3-6 conference record and ranked 5th in the Eastern A. They faced Havre, the fourth seed in the Central A division.
Coach Jodi Alexander said the Locos played Havre at the beginning of the season and split games with them in pool play, 28-26 and 23-25.
The winner of the match faces #1 seed Billings Central at 10 a.m. this morning and the loser plays at 7:15 p.m.
Coach Alexander said the team faced challenges over the season due to injuries, but said she is proud of the team’s work ethic and growth over the season.
“Our young Laurel team continues to improve and overcome diversity.”
