Laurel All–State Running Back Beau Dantic has signed a National Letter of Intent to play football for the University of Montana Grizzlies next fall.

The Loco running back, receiver and outside linebacker was part of the 2020 Class A State Champion team that were also state runners–up in 2019 and 2021.

Over his career at Laurel Dantic had 300 rushing carries for 1,626 yards and 16 touchdowns, averaging 5.4 yards per carry. He also had 27 receptions for 472 yards and six TDs.

Dantic was a 1st team All-Conference running back and 2nd team All-Conference outside linebacker his junior season.

This year he was voted All–State and All–Conference running back as well as a 1st team All-Conference outside linebacker and received the Loco’s Offensive MVP award.

Head Coach Mike Ludwig said he is excited to see Dantic be able to continue to play football after high school.

“He has worked really hard for our football program the last four years and has been a great teammate. I know he will do the same things at the University of Montana and I look forward to seeing the next chapters of his football life unfold.
