Thursday, September 3, 2020

The following cross country update was provided by Joliet HS English teacher Kaleb Price:

Joliet runners competed in the first Cross Country meet of the 2020-21 school year in Colstrip on August 29, bringing three Varsity runners to the event. Amidst the new COVID regulations and first race jitters, all three Joliet runners ran State qualifying times. Bryce Williams (Sophomore) placed in the top five with a time of 19’55”, Caleb Nardinger (Junior) ran a solid 24’15” and Kaitlyn Bancroft represented Joliet in the girl’s race with 30’55”. All three were excited to get the year started and are ready to have the rest of the team join them for the upcoming races. The next scheduled meet is in Red Lodge on Sept. 12.
