The J-Hawk and CJ Roadrunners had a strong meet in Roundup in preparation for the State meet in Helena this weekend.
Coach Rachel Herrington said it was windy and cold in Roundup, “but was a great day for running with each runner trying to reach their personal goals for the season.”
Jakob May took 4th after posting 17:54. Parker Smith had 20:32 and Dawson Bancroft, 20:41. Brigham Smith had a new personal record with 21:55 and Riley Simons finished in 25:07.
For the varsity girls, Jalyn Songstad had 25:59 and Megan Deines had 26:02.
Nathan Ovitt finished with 22:56 for the JV boys.
Both JV girls finished in the top 10 with McKendra O’Dore taking 6th with 28:06, and Emily Deines, 10th, with 28:41.
