Joliet Community Center hosts art fair

The annual Joliet Art & Craft Fair will be on Dec. 3, at the Joliet Community Center.
Local artists and crafters will present their homemade and handmade items between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
A new addition to the fair this year is a display by the artists of the Billings Arts Association. An affordable variety of miniature sized artwork (8”x10” or smaller) will be available for sale. The Joliet Lions club’s booth will feature floral arrangements by Flo McMasters, holiday décor and other items. Proceeds from the Lions’ booth sales go to the area Toys for Kids campaign. Laurel Ovitt art collectors are in luck. A booth featuring Laurel’s artwork will be part of the art and craft fair as well. Stunning landscape photography by Gerry Wohlschlaeger would make a unique and beautiful addition to any home. Scentsy and Tupperware vendors are also joining the show. There will be 32 booths providing opportunities for every shopper .
As always, a soup lunch will be offered between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.. Soup, crackers, drink and a dessert will be available for $5. The fair is a fundraiser for the Joliet Community Center.
