After placing seventh at divisionals the previous week, the Joliet J-Hawks boys went to state and placed seventh once again. They scored 26 team points, scored by Ry Olson and Caleb Bailey. Ry Olson placed first in the triple jump, second in the long jump, and fourth in the high jump in his final track meet in high school. Caleb Bailey will be back for his senior year next year. He placed fourth in the triple jump with a PR jump of 41-11.50. The two jumpers performed very well at state, representing Joliet well.

The girls placed 16th overall amongst the Class B girls teams, with only Kallie Zinne scoring their points. She placed second in the high jump with a high jump of 5-00 feet. She earned her team seven points with that placement, which was good enough to leapfrog them above 11 other schools, in terms of placement.

Congrats to Kallie Zinne and Ry Olson on a great, final high school track season. The two senior jumpers both have col- lege track and field potential, and have been leaping to great heights all season.
