Jim worked for State Farm Insurance for 35 plus years as the Laurel and Columbus agent. He was also active on the Laurel Golf Course Board and was a former past President. Jim was involved with the Laurel Police Commission and Ambulance Committee.

During his last years, his great friend, Annette Wellhaven, her husband Leif, son Colton, and daughter Hope were the biggest and best parts of his life. Thank you all so much for your support, generosity & humor - God Bless!!!
Special thanks to Compassus Hospice Care who helped dad in his final days. He will be laid to rest at the Laurel Veterans' Cemetery.
You made it across the Finish Line Dad - in first place! See you again, probably driving a shiny, black Mustang.
