Jake Adams

Thursday, September 27, 2018

Jake was born in Glasgow, Montana 25 years ago and died unexpectedly in his home on September 21, 2018.

Jake had his mom and dad’s heart from the moment he entered their lives. He lived his entire life in Park City, Montana.  He loved everything about Park City and never wanted to leave.  He graduated from Park City High School and was educated beyond school by his grandparents, Gene Devens, Shirley and Lee Adams.

He loved to fish and camp and the more family and friends he could get to go with him the happier he was. He made friends easily and no matter where he was, even at the young age of 5, knew everyone in the area.

He loved drag racing with his dad and made another family of friends at the track.

He was a kind and gentle soul and never wished harm on anyone.  He loved his neighbors growing up and helped them whenever he could, and we know they loved him back. Jake worked at his grandpa Lee’s, dad’s and uncle Wade’s business from the age of 13 and made all three very proud.

Jake was loved by and loved many and will be forever missed. He is survived by his parents, John and Lisa, his best friend, brother Nate. He is also survived by his grandfather Lee and many aunts, uncles and cousins. And his first best friend and cousin Jerrica Staffel.

We will see you in Heaven Jake!

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Smith Funeral Chapel, 315 E. 3rd St., Laurel. Visitation will be 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment will follow at the Park City Cemetery.
