The Joliet football team coasted to a 42–8 win over Lone Peak on Saturday to move to 2–0 on the season.

Head Coach George Warburton said, “We continue to get better on both sides of the ball and are able to involve many different players throughout the game.”

J–Hawk QB Hayden Ward was 5/10 for 69 yards with two touchdowns and had six rushes for 62 yards and a TD.

Paxton McQuillan had 11 rushes for 85 yards and a TD, and Tucker Lind had 49 yards on two runs with a TD.

On defense, Brendan Graeber had four solo tackles and assisted on nine, Seth Bailey had three solo tackles and assisted on eight and Ward had three solo tackles and assisted on nine.

Towns Catron had 2 solo tackles and a blocked punt.

Joliet is on the road tomorrow to face Ennis at 7 p.m.
