It’s poppy time

The Laurel American Legion Auxiliary will be making up hundreds of poppies to be offered to community members on Friday, May 27, for a donation to the organization. The auxiliary funds various projects for vets through the money raised during National Poppy Day. With money raised in 2021, the auxiliary purchased a water station for Independence Hall, a housing unit for homeless vets in Billings. Look for the poppies outside local businesses.
