Homecoming Chili Cook Off

To kick off this year’s homecoming football game against Lewistown, the Laurel High School will be putting on a inaugural Loco Chili Cook Off. The festivities will be on Friday, Oct. 11. Set up begins by the LHS Practice Field at 3:30

p.m., and the first batch of chili

is due at 5 p.m. The cost is $5 for all you can eat chili. Proceeds will go towards the Community Electronic Communication Board.

Laurel’s first responders,

businesses, and friends are invited to enter the contest by submitting a recipe and contact information to the Laurel High School no later than Monday, Oct. 7. There is no fee to enter your chili in the contest.

Rules and guidelines

• Heat Source - Camp Stove or Turkey Fryer only! No generators.

• Bring cooking utensils and supplies (we will supply bowls and spoons)

• Tables for your cooking needs (seating tables provided)

• Awnings (optional but high- ly recommended)

• No alcohol on school premises

• Voting jar - cash tips - number of votes
