High school shouldn’t be for vo-ed

I grew up in Colorado at the time I was a senior in high school we experienced overcrowding, bonds were voted down. Instead of asking for more money the board thought out of the box and came up with a plan of split sessions. It allowed the high school to be used more efficiently. We do not always have to come up with more money for expansion.
I am surprised that high school is now thought of as vocational training. When our daughters were in high school we lived in Helena, they wanted to earn credit toward college so we enrolled them in Carroll College. No one else picked up the tab we did doing child care and newspaper routes to earn extra money. Why is it now the responsibility of tax payers to pay for vocational training? We have City College at MSU Billings that have programs that can be used for vocational training, Rocky Mountain College and MSU Billings are also options.
Vote No.
