Guy Allen Ehrlick

Guy Allen Ehrlick

On May 23, 1955, Guy Allen Ehrlick was born and exactly 62 years later he was called home. We are certain he heard, “Well done – come and take your rest.”
Guy was the youngest of Albert and LaVera Ehrlick’s three children, grew up on the south side of Laurel in the home his father built, and graduated from Laurel High School in 1974. He obtained an Associates Degree in law enforcement from Dawson Community College and worked as a jailer for Yellowstone County. He changed careers and held a variety of positions for MT Video which later became TCI, AT&T, Bresnan and finally Charter.
He married Teresa Marie Kimbriel on July 29th, 1977 and, over the course of their almost 40 years, they built a beautiful life together. They raised two incredible sons who, by example, he taught to work hard, help others, treasure the women in their lives, encourage their children and persevere no matter the challenge. Guy was the model of loyalty, demonstrated his love for his family daily, enjoyed many camping adventures especially through Yellowstone, and loved a project often tinkering in the “man cave.” He was a man of few words, but the ones he said were well-chosen and meaningful.
He was proceeded in death by his parents. He is survived by his courageous caregiver and favorite travel companion – his wife, Teresa; his children, Jake (Ashley) and Nathan (Joy Cristan); his pride and joy (also known as grandchildren), Kaylee, Courtnae, O’Reilly, Dixon and Odette; siblings, Linda (Jerry) Broderson and Darell (Sally) Ehrlick; in-laws, Jim and Clara Kimbriel, James (Heather) Kimbriel, Debbie (Lucky) Rittiluechai, Rhonda O’Malley, Brenda (Rich) Heitstuman and Tommy (Colleen) Kimbriel; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Sincere thanks to Billings Clinic, Frontier Cancer Center, Dr. Patrick Cobb, and Riverstone Hospice.
Services will be held at Heights Family Funeral Home and Crematory at 10:00am on Saturday, June 3rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
