Grateful to fathers and children

Good day. Blessings on your summer. The rain was beautiful!

And belated Happy Fathers’ Day. Thank you to every man for working.

At the moment I am holding my grandson and thanking God as well for children and grandchildren.

But I am not grateful for the Federal government and its inability to do math. As our daughter just said, the Federal government is making itself irrelevant as well as bankrupt. Our U. S. Constitution is meant to “... secure the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity...” For us, this does not mean stealing from the limited funds of the Veterans’ Administration to provide disfiguring gender surgeries etc., as U. S. Senator Tester just voted for. His Billings number is 252-0550, but I doubt you will find anyone there.

I wish I could just print money. You know, there are fund limits in our State also. There are fund limits in our County as well as our towns, which reminds me of the Joliet Jail.

There are information meetings for the complex and wellmeaning jail project. The next to the last will be Wednesday, 6 p.m., July 7, Joliet Community Center. Please, please, do attend and pay attention to your own County. The vote is August 3. The construction cost is almost $20 million and perhaps $2 million yearly budget. In Montana, we also wish to “ the blessings of liberty for this and future generations...” but we can do math, thank you. Property owners alone can not bear the load.

On a more positive note, next week is Independence Day weekend. I wish you and yours the blessings of Liberty!

God loves you (John 3:16),
