Florence ‘Bobbi’ Kleinsasser

Florence “Bobbi” Kleinsasser, age 71 of Laurel, Montana passed away on December 15th among her loved ones in Billings, Montana. She was born to William and Florence Korte on September 11, 1950 in Lewistown, Montana. She grew up in the Harlowton, Martinsdale, and White Sulpher Springs area with her parents and friends.

Bobbi was married to the love of her life, Fred Kleinsasser in April of 1978, and they spent 43 wonderful years together.

Bobbi dedicated her life to childcare and worked for many years at various daycares. Later on in life she decided to open her own daycare and ran that for over 40 years. Most days she had more than 15 kids of all ages that she was responsible for. Later in life, she went to work for the Laurel School District as a bus aide until she retired.

Bobbi is preceded in death by her Dad and Mom, William and Florence Korte, her brother Bill Korte, her nephew Austin Simpson, and her best friend, Gretta Waldner.

Bobbi left behind many dear loved ones, her husband, Fred Kleinsasser, her sons Kelly Kleinsasser, Shawn (Brandi) Kleinsasser, her sister Peggy (Gary) Butler, her brother Richard Korte, her granddaughters Sydney and Mackenzie Kleinsasser, and her grandsons, Derek Kleinsasser, Austin Butler, Tannin Fisher, her niece Robin Cooper and her sons Kaden and Wyatt and daughter Rainy, and her nephew Chase (Rainy) Simpson and their children Laken, River and Stone.

Bobbi was much more than a Wife, Mother, Grandma, and Aunt, she was the Matriarch of our family and the glue that held this family together.

She will be missed dearly and never forgotten.

Services to be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Smith Laurel Chapel, 315 E 3rd St.
